Below, editor-in-chief Matt Richenthal is joined by TV Fanatic writer Steve Marsi and fellow critic Eric Hochberger to discuss topics from "Crying Wolf" ...

What was your favorite quote/scene from the episode?
Matt: Stefan's take that Elena's sacrifice is "tragic," not heroic. There's so much potential to the possibility of Elena turning at some point and I loved how the seeds were planted for it here.

Steve: I'm still laughing over Damon's response to Alaric's request NOT to kill Andie: "If I did, who would report her death?"

Eric: I've gotta go with Bonnie's spell on Luka, only because it revealed so much juicy information. Elijah plans on letting Elena die? Luke has a sister? Klaus has been capturing witches for centuries to help with him break the curse?!? My head is spinning, in the very best of ways.

Will we ever see Tyler again?
Matt: Yes, but the real question is this: what shape will he be in when we do? Will Jules continue to taint his mind against his friends? Or might a road trip be exactly what Tyler needs to discover that Mystic Falls is where his loyalty lies?

Steve: Nope. But, hey, the guy had a good run.

Eric: Of course. But I think this adventure will bring him closer to Jules and, by extension, the werewolf community. He'll return, he'll be against Stefan and company and I'm calling it now: Tyler will be killed near the end of the season.

Jonnie: Hot or not?
Matt: HOT. You did see that kiss between the pair, right?

Steve: HOT. I'm a sucker for a good couple's nickname and these two definitely possess one.

Eric: NOT. I'm just imagining what the sex would have been like with Luka instead. Two witches going at it? They could probably have levitated mid-coital or something.

Will Jenna discover the truth about... everyone?
Matt: I hope so. There's only so long the show can keep her in the dark without making it seem like a major stretch.

Steve: No, and I'm sad to say this will lead to the demise of her relationship with Alaric. I love those two together, but he cares too much about Jenna and do what he thinks is in her best interest: break up with her before she can get deeply involved in this dangerous world.

Eric: Definitely. I don't trust John Gilbert at all and it's clear he's intent on opening Jenna's eyes to the supernatural world around her.
