Smash Finale Scheduled for May 26

NBC has shifted Smash once again.

But just for one week this time around.

The network announced today that the series will bid farewell with a two-hour episode on Sunday, May 26, getting a reprieve from its new Saturday night time slot for what it certain to be a series finale.

The concluding episode will be titled "The Tonys" and will feature both a pregnancy and an arrest, according to an earlier interview between TV Line and showrunner Josh Safran.

Smash Season 2 premiered on Tuesday, February 5 and quickly fell of a ratings cliff. It only garnered 4.5 million viewers for that episode and was moved to Saturdays on April 6.
