FX has released the first official teaser for Sons of Anarchy Season 6.

And while it doesn't reveal any new footage from the series, or even an exact premiere date, it's safe to say the video packs quite the punch.

Watch now as Jax is held back by his fellow SAMCRO members, as the trailer makes it clear this outlaw President will be in an ornery mood when the action picks back up, which will be understandable considering Sons of Anarchy Season 5 concluded with his wife being led off in handcuffs.

Here is what we know about Sons of Anarchy Season 6:

Jimmy Smits will be a full-time cast member in the role of Nero.
Donal Logue will appear in approximately eight episodes.
CCH Pounder will guest star as an attorney.
Kim Dickens will play a madame.
Drea de Matteo will be back as Wendy.
Kurt Sutter has said it will be the most violent season to date.
