Hilarie Burton: Headed to Hostages

Hilarie Burton has been taken hostage by CBS.

Indeed, the veteran actress (On Tree Hill, Grey's Anatomy, White Collar, Castle) will recur on CBS' new drama Hostages. According to TV Line, she will portray the assistant to the main character's husband, Brian Sanders (Tate Donovan), a shady real estate dealer.

Hostages premieres on Monday, September 23 and will tell the story of Toni Collette's Dr. Ellen Sanders, a surgeon scheduled to perform an operation on the President of the United States…

… only she's taken hostage the night before the procedure by terrorists who want her to botch the surgery and kill the Commander-in-Chief. Watch a trailer now:
