The clock can stop ticking on at least one aspect of 24's return:

Mary Lynn Rajskub has confirmed her reprisal of Chloe when this Fox drama comes back to the air this spring.

“I am thrilled to be working with Howard and the writers again – and, of course, Kiefer!,” said Rajskub in a statement of the show's lead producer and star. “There’s a lot more room to grow in my character…I’m going to start sharpening my computer skills now!”

24: Live Another Day will premiere next year on Fox and once again center on Kiefer Sutherland's Jack Bauer.

Plot details are being kept under wraps, but we know the limited series (scheduled for 12 episodes) will be set several years after events on the final season. The story will still be told in real time.

Rajskub joined the drama in Season 3 as Chloe O’Brian, Jack’s CTU sidekick. Her series demeanor and tech mastery, along with her loyalty to the show's troubled hero, made her a fan favorite over the years.
