According to TV Guide, John Corbett will reprise his role as Sarah's ex-husband on Episode 13 of Parenthood Season 5. What brings Seth back into the picture?

Look for Amber to stop by her dad's restaurant and to get into an argument with a fellow customer, prompting a fatherly intervention.

In other Parenthood casting news, it's also been confirmed that Jason Ritter will return some time in 2014 as Sara's former fiancé, Mark.

Corbett, meanwhile, debuted on Parenthood Season 2 and recurred several times after that. He most recently guest-starred on NCIS: Los Angeles in a backdoor pilot for a spinoff that did not go to series.
