Julie Plec just signed a new, well-deserved contract with Warner Bros. Television, ensuring that the woman behind The Originals and The Vampire Diaries won't be going anywhere any time soon.

And it's a good thing, too, because, let's face it: everyone's gotta get some now and then.

So Plec joked with us on the red carpet of PaleyFest last week when asked about the recent sex scenes on the aforementioned shows, one between Damon and Elena; the other between Marcel and Cami.

Aside from naked bodies in bed, the producer teased a couple possible returns to come and went back over the internal conflicts that have made The Originals Season 1 such a blast to watch.
