On The Mindy Project Season 2 Episode 20, Mindy is confronted by a police officer when she gives his daughter birth control pills.
Peter rescues a rabbi from some hooligans on the subway and is mistaken for being Jewish. The gracious rabbi visits him at work and invites him to dinner. Danny fails to tell him he is not Jewish because of the promise of new patients from the rabbi's temple. He asks Peter to accompany him to the dinner.
Elsewhere, the police officer's daughter takes Mindy's advice to be her own woman. She leaves home and asks to stay with Mindy until she can get on her feet. Things go bad when she throws a sex party and Mindy is forced to call Jenny's dad.
