NBC has renewed another TV Fanatic favorite.
With Hannibal picked up for Season 3, the network has now confirmed that About a Boy will return this fall with new episodes.
Incredibly, this marks the first NBC sitcom to receive a second season renewal since Community in 2010.
About a Boy has improved the Tuesdays-at-9 time slot for NBC by 20 percent when compared to this time a year ago and the David Walton-anchored comedy typically defeats sitcom rivals on ABC and Fox in the 18-49-year old demographic.
Expect plenty more NBC announcements over the next few hours and prepare for the full 2014-2015 schedule to be released on Monday.
