These were just some of the tidbits regarding The Vampire Diaries Season 6 that cast members Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley, Matt Davis and Nina Dobrev shared with us at Comic-Con.

Along with Julie Plec, the stars passed along numerous scoops and spoilers, beginning with Somerhalder, who teased what life (death?) will be like for Damon and Bonnie this fall (we assume he's kidding about trying to make babies):

Dobrev, meanwhile, shared in our sorrow that Katherine is gone:

Davis told us what Alaric would be up to upon his surprisingly awesome return:

Wesley warned of a very different Stefan when we next see him:

And Plec comforted worried fans while spilling the revealing beans on how Elena is reacting to the loss of Damon:

The Vampire Diaries Season 6 Episode 1 will be titled "I'll Remember" and it will air on Thursday, October 2 at 8/7c.
