Andy Mientus has booked a ticket to Central City.

The actor (currently playing Marius in Les Miserables on Broadway) has been cast on the new CW drama as Hartley Rathaway, also known as the Pied Piper in to comic book fans. 

This character, one of the few openly gay villains in DC lore, will show up to seek vengeance against his former mentor, Tom Cavanagh’s Dr. Harrison Wells.

He'll aim to do so, of course, by killing Wells's new protege, The Flash, after the same particle accelerator accident that created Barry Allen’s speedy superhero causes Rathaway to lose his hearing.

Mientus will appear on The Flash Season 1 Episode 11 and The Flash Season 1 Episode 12.

The Flash Season 1 Episode 1, meanwhile, aired on Tuesday and garnered 4.5 million viewers, making it the network's most-watched episode since The Vampire Diaries premiere in 2009.

In addition to Mientus, Victor Garber, Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell will guest star this season.
