The excitement for Orphan Black Season 3 keeps growing – along with its cast!
As previously announced, Justin Chatwin will be appearing on a recurring basis. We now know James Frain and Ksenia will join him, among others, and we have some details about who they'll play.
Chatwin will be playing Jason Kellerman, described in a BBC America press release as a man with "rugged good looks and street-smarts, Jason is a savvy drug-dealer in the guise of a charismatic businessman."
Frain, who recently headlined BBCA's The Intruders alongside Mira Sorvina, will play Ferdinant, a charming and educated "cleaner" who can be intimidating. The guest star will also be a "powerful player in a secretive, multi-national political faction that operates with questionable ethics and a ruthless approach."
Solo (Lost Girl) has the good fortune to play Shay. Shay's a holistic healer who is described as "soulful and compassionate" on a collision course to become Cosima's new best friend!
Other additions include Kyra Harper as the reasonable, maternal and yet ruthless Dr. Harper who advises the military, whose outward manner disguises an agenda her superiors can't imagine, and Earl Pastko as Bulldog, Ferdinand's bodyguard. A silent man, Bulldog carries out his heinous work using only facial expressions to communicate with his employers.
Well! Considering these amazing additions, it sure seems like we're going to be seeing a lot more of the male clones. With Helena recently sent off to be a part of their game, that's a welcome notion!
Orphan Black will be shooting through March 2015 and air sometime later in the year.
