The stars weren't exactly what they appeared on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 5 Episode 5 as we recap Yolanda's turmoil, Brooke's wedding day and Lisa Vanderpump's almost famous star in our +/- review.

Lisa Vanderpump was receiveing a star on the walk of fame. No, not the Hollywood walk of fame but the Palm Springs Walk of Stars. Minus 15. They didn't really mention that part in the previews. Nevertheless, Ms Vanderpump got a lovely soiree where most of the attendants wore pink, Lance Bass said some kinds words despite sweating through his shirt in the 115 degree heat and Giggy got an introduction before Ken. 

Lisa invited good friend Lisa Rinna to see her get a star next to Sonny Bono as well as several of her gay friends...and can't we just call them friends? Obviously none of the other Housewives rated an invite, not that I minded. Lisa Rinna made up for the lack of drama with a little bit of fun. Plus 22.

I can't say I've ever had a conversation about the merits and detriments of Brazilian waxing at a dinner party but when you're a Real Housewife it seems that any topic is appropriate over drinks and hors d'oeuvres. Plus 25 because that really is part of the reason for why we tune in. 

Did anyone else know that Brandi Glanville's been doing her own podcast or the last year? No? Me neither. And in order to woo more advertising dollars she's been trying to keep the topics a little less risque than usual as she explains in this The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills quote...

Family friendly all day long, bitch.

I know when I think family entertainment, I think Brandi Glanville...not! Minus 37.

Eileen Davidson took us on a quick tour of The Young and The Restless set as she returned to the show once again. As much as I enjoy the actress, we've barely seen her interact with the other Housewives so far this season. Minus 13. What's up with that?

Yolanda got some unsettling news about her daughter Bella. She got picked up for a DUI while Yolanda was in Spain. I found it amusing that Yolanda said her daughter had a glass of wine at a beach party and then got pulled over because she had to get to a gas station. Um...I'd guess it was more than one glass and isn't Bella under age? Minus 43.

Finally we get to Kim's daughter Brooke's wedding and it was great to see the Richards sisters all get together for such a happy occasion. It wasn't all that long ago we worried for Kim's future. Now she's sober, happy, and watching her daughter walk down the aisle. Plus 50.
