Outlander: Season 1/Volume 1: Curious what the fuss is about with the Starz series based on the best-selling Diana Gabaldon book series? The show is epic in scope but also so personal in a way that will hook you from the first episode. The first 8 episodes are in this edition, which is good timing since the second half of the season is coming next month. The Blu-ray has a few more extras than the DVD release so I recommend going the Blu-ray route with this one. Trust me!
Longmire: Season 3: You may have thought this was the final season of the show but A&E's loss is Netflix's gain as they picked up the series for a fourth season. Doctor Who: Last Christmas: Topping off a hugely successful first season with new Doctor, Peter Capaldi, the Christmas episode features Nick Frost as Santa Claus. In the episode, the Doctor and Clara (Jenna Coleman) are facing their final Christmas by being trapped on an arctic base and being attacked by terrifying creatures. Who else can save them? Santa Claus!! The Blu-ray and DVD releases come with exclusive audio commentary from Director Paul Wilhurst and Producer Paul Frift as well as a 10-minute behind-the-scenes featurette about the making of the holiday episode.
