This one won't be so easy to solve.
Backstrom is not coming back for a second season, as Fox has decided not to renew the freshman detective series.
Despite performing steadily for the network and coming from Fox VIP Hart Hanson, things still didn't look rosy enough for a pickup.
The Following was also canceled earlier today by Fox.
Fox has picked up three dramas for the new season, including The Grinder, The Frankenstein Code and Rosewood.
