The friendship between Grace and Frankie won't be dissolving any time soon.

Netflix has picked up the series for a second season.

The Netflix original, created by Marta Kauffman and Howard J. Morris, features Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda as women who are forced to lean on each other when their husbands come out as gay and run away together.

New episodes of the light-hearted drama will be released in 2016.

“Let me say, it’s so awesome to do a show on Netflix,” Kauffman said. “Because two and a half weeks after we launched, Miley Cyrus does a tweet about your show, and they call and say, ‘We’d like to do a season two.’

"So yes, there is a season two. We have Ted [Sarandos, Netflix chief content officer] and Miley to thank.”

Netflix Quotes

When Tishka went into space, the world started to dream again. If people were sad, or scared, or alone, they would look up at the sky and see Tishka, and be reminded that everything is possible. And following in his footsteps, people went to space too. He had never dreamed of going to space, but fate intervened. And once he got there, he could not go back. He left a puppy on Earth, his beloved Sashenka. Now, Tishka circles the Moon. He's looking out the porthole, thinking, "Everything would have been so much easier if I had been someone else; if I could be an Earth dog." But what could Tishka do? Tishka is not an Earth dog; Tishka is a space dog.
