The Good Wife Season 7 Adds Peter Gallagher as New Attorney

Peter Gallagher will be mixing it up with Diane Lockhart on The Good Wife Season 7.
At least that's the way it sounds!
Gallagher will portray Irving Carter, a witty and sophisticated attorney for conservative billionaire Reese Dipple (Oliver Platt), who got into some exciting and heated philosophical conversations with Diane during The Good Wife Season 6.
Carter has been sent to Lockhart/Agos/Lee on behalf of Dipple. He's described as preferring civilized debate over mindless bullying, but will use whatever method it take to assure the firm is furthering his client's agenda.
That sure sounds fun!
Gallagher's role will be recurring. He joins Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who has been added to the cast for the new season. Morgan will be a new investigator, which is sorely needed with the departure of Kalinda.
