Scorpion Season 3 Episode 21 Review: Rock Block

at .  Updated at .

The moral of the story is to always carry nice nail files with you. They come in handy.

On Scorpion Season 3 Episode 21, Team Scorpion takes on a private job involving a rocket and an asteroid that might be a meteor.

For our peace of mind, we should probably just refer to it as a space rock.

Asteroids! - Scorpion

The case is really just all right. It's not bad by any means, but there's nothing special about it.

It doesn't get your blood pumping. It's not intriguing. There wasn't anything about the case that demanded your attention.

Also, I could have done without the Walter cutting his hand on the bevel scene. So much cringing on my end. I mean OUCH.

Still, the case has its upsides.

The president was actually a decent human being, which was nice.

It would not have been the least bit shocking if the person who hired Team Scorpion (in this case the president) turned out to be evil and was using Team Scorpion's brilliance for nefarious purposes.

Yeah, the general was still a complete jerk (someone in power had to be), but I like that Team Scorpion was working with the president and his attaché.

They were a nice (temporary) Cabe substitute.

Sly: Oh! I dropped my contact!
Toby: Sylvester, you wear glasses.
Sly: One - I'm not a good liar. Two - the last thing the world needs is more germs.

By far the best part of the case was Sly stepping up and kicking ass. He was the only one who had a solution to the problem, and he carried out his plan with confidence.

Sly has really grown a lot. I can't imagine season one Sly staring down a general like that, and then on top of that Sly threatened the guy. Sly's hardcore now.

The next step in his transformation will be improving his lying skills. I really want someone to tutor Sly on the art of lying, but I can't decide who it should be.

I guess if Veronica comes back, it could be a job for her.

Quintis Wedding Prep

Now, let's talk wedding prep!

The Quintis wedding is a gift that just keeps on giving. Happy Quinn was in a robe at a spa. My brain is still trying to process that information.

Normally when a TV couple gets engaged, we watch them stress out about the gazillion of details that need to be hammered out in order to have a wedding.

Their pre-wedding storyline is frantic.

With Quintis, however, we watch the bride and groom relax while their friends do all the heavy lifting.

Between Sly's table arrangements and Cabe's frustration over all the different shades of white table cloths, the wedding prep is a lot of fun to watch.

Hopefully, this isn't the last of the prep that we will see.

I'd love to watch Cabe, Sly, Walter, and Paige get more and more frazzled as they try to accommodate Happy and Toby's needs.

Walter: Now according to my research, your marriage only has a 47% chance of succeeding.
Paige: Are you kidding me?
Walter: No, the divorce rate is 53%. It's simple math.

Walter not totally understanding weddings was a surprise to no one. He's made progress but not that much progress.

Even though he slipped up and started talking about divorce rates and set up lecturers, Walter's concern came from a place of love.

He doesn't want his best friends to get divorced, even though they are statistically doomed to fail.

On the Waige front, there's some movement, specifically a dance to a really weird "romantic" song.

You have to admit, the song is very Toby and Happy.

I have used geometry to place tables for optimal traffic flow to get between the buffet, the dance floor, and the bathrooms.
