Kara Danvers may have a huge fanbase, but we did not expect a cult to worship her.

According to EW, Chad Lowe will appear on Supergirl Season 3 Episode 4, titled "The Faithful."

He will play Thomas Coville, a religious leader who runs a whole cult devoted to National City's most famous savior.

Yes, you guys, the Girl of Steel has a group of followers who are a little too infatuated with her for their own good.

According to the description, "He’s a deeply spiritual man, committed to preaching his faith and transforming his followers’ lives."

The episode is scheduled to air at the end of October, but that's not to say Chad will be done with hit CW series.

Chad Lowe Attends Benefit

In fact, he will have a heavy influence on the show just a few weeks later, with him being signed up to direct Supergirl Season 3 Episode 7, which is titled "Wake Up."

Chad has built up an impressive resume both on and off the screen over years.

The former Pretty Little Liars star previously directed episodes of the hit Freeform drama, along with the likes of Brothers & Sisters and Bones.

Lowe is the latest in a long line of additions ahead of the new season of the series.

It was previously announced that Odette Annable had landed the role of Reign and was added as a series regular. Reign is set to be the central villain.

On top of that, Smallville veteran Erica Durance has joined in a recast as Kara's mother, Alura.

Supergirl Quotes

Beth: You know it's true what they say, behind every great man is a strong woman.
Lena: I wouldn't know, I've never stood behind a man.

Lena: Kara? I heard about Jeremiah. I came to offer up sympathies. Offer up my sympathies, god I sound like an android.
Kara: No. No, you sound like someone who's afraid to confront the woman who called you a villain.
Lena: My mother died when I was very young. And I, I know that pales in comparison to the loses that you've suffered, but I know it doesn't get any easier. I'm sorry.
Kara: Thank you for saying that. That means a lot coming from you.
