That was revealed on DC's Legends of Tomorrow Season 3 Episode 2 when they made their way to 1870 and realized it happened to be at P.T. Barnum's circus.
Nate and Ray accidentally released a tiger, and it caused a whole lot of trouble for the Legends and the members of the circus.
Meanwhile, P.T. Barnum wanted to kidnap Nate and Ray to help make his show more successful.
