How to Get Away with Murder Season 4 Episode 12 Review: Ask Him About Stella

Isaac Roa is a nasty piece of work.

On How to Get Away with Murder Season 4 Episode 12, Annalise continued her plight to save her therapist from a lengthy spell behind bars, and it resulted in their biggest bust-up yet.

Annalise Knows All - How to Get Away with Murder Season 4 Episode 12

It's been glaringly obvious for a while now that something's been off with Isaac, and we finally learned the details we needed to know about the night Stella died.

Isaac had been lying to Annalise about being off the drugs for over 20 years, and I loved how she put it all together after Isaac told her he had relapsed.

Initially, Annalise's first reaction was to help because she knew how easy it was to relapse, but she drew the line when she figured out that Stella died as a result of Isaac having drugs in the house.

I can't even begin to imagine what was going through Isaac's mind when he tried to administer CPR to his daughter in those final moments, but sending a text to make it look like a suicide was a step too far.

If you watch How to Get Away with Murder online, you will already know that Jacqueline has struggled in the aftermath of her daughter's apparent suicide.

Can you imagine what it will do to her to learn that Isaac covered the whole thing up? Annalise has never been one to mince words, but I was shocked she actually called Jacqueline.

It would have been a mistake for Annalise to get closer to Isaac. He's already proven that he's a bit of a loose cannon, and if he's back on the drugs full-time, that could mess with Annalise's recovery program.

Annalise needs to find a way to cut Isaac out of her life because the pair of them together makes for one toxic friendship. They're no good for each other and the sooner they realize that, the better.

It was silly of Bonnie to reveal her cards to Denver so soon. Bonnie telling the truth essentially has put herself in the firing line, and now she's scared to be home alone.

Denver is a wicked man, but his actions have always been impulsive. Bonnie going against him is the type of thing that would make him put out a kill order on her.

The man is deluded, and he needs to be taken out of the equation before it's too late. I did laugh out loud when the assistant admitted he told Denver everything.

The look on Bonnie's face was priceless because she knew she had to get nasty to stay in the game.

It was only a matter of time before the class action lawsuit hit another major snag. Poor Annalise had prepared for the big day in court, but she should have been ready for the pushback.

The State Supreme Court was likely worried that the case would garner too much media attention, and that's why it was nipped in the bud before it became one of the most prominent cases of the year.

Michaela's plan to have the U.S. Supreme Court to hear the case was a stroke of genius. Annalise knew she was on to something with the case and never dreamed of taking it to a bigger audience.

I got chills when Annalise entered the lecture hall because Olivia Pope from Scandal was the one leading the charge. Thankfully, it seems like Olivia really has turned a corner, and it's a cause it seems like a case in her wheelhouse.

Can it be March already? We need to know what happens next with this big plot!

No Way - How to Get Away with Murder Season 4 Episode 10

I'm still not sold on Sandrine. Her calling Jorge to try and get Michaela some alone time with her son is a great cover story. It's always difficult to assess what's really going on with anyone on this show.

That's why I'm glad Frank is not ready to give up on finding out the truth. Deep down, he's cut up about his elbow making Laurel have her child prematurely.

That's the reason for him going to these extreme measures to find everything out before it's too late.

"Ask Him About Stella" set the wheels in motion for a wild crossover that is going to change everything for the characters.

Other tidbits from the episode:

  • Thank heavens that Connor finally sees sense and is returning to education. He's been on fire of late, and all of that is down to him helping Annalise.
  • The Coliver wedding had better actually come to fruition. I'm tired of the back and forth, and viewers deserve a great wedding after everything they've been through.
  • Poor Nate. Every time he thinks he's getting somewhere with his father, he's back to square one.
