CBS has renewed another 11 series for the 2018-2019 TV season.
The network confirmed on Wednesday that it had renewed the following programs for the following seasons:
- Hawaii Five-0 (for Season 9).
- Blue Bloods (for Season 9).
- MacGyver (for Season 3).
- Bull (for Season 3).
- Madam Secretary (for Season 5).
- NCIS: Los Angeles (for Season 10).
- NCIS: New Orleans (for Season 5).
- Survivor (for Seasons 37 and 38).
- The Amazing Race (for Season 31).
- 48 Hours (for Season 31).
- 60 Minutes (for Season 51).
The 11 renewals join The Big Bang Theory, Young Sheldon, Mom, NCIS, SEAL Team and S.W.A.T. which were previously renewed for additional seasons.
The news likely means that Hawaii Five-0 stars Alex O'Loughlin and Scott Caan have carved out a deal to remain as a series regular for Season 9.
Their contracts are due to lapse the end of Hawaii Five-0 Season 8.
Criminal Minds missed out on an early renewal, but that's not to say the show will be canceled.
The negotiations for the procedural drama have been known to go down to the wire in the past.
Despite lower than usual ratings, the show has remained a solid performer. Also, showrunner, Erica Messer revealed in a chat with TV Fanatic that tonight's season finale will not be a closure-filled affair.
Scorpion, which has suffered in the ratings this season also missed out on a renewal, and the series is firmly on the bubble.
It is down over 30 percent to 5.3 million viewers and a 0.8 rating among adults 18-49.
Code Black, Elementary, Instinct, Kevin Can Wait, Life in Pieces, Living Biblically, Man With a Plan, 9JKL, and Superior Donuts will have their fates announced at a later date.
Of those shows, Living Biblically, 9JKL and Instinct are not expected to continue.
