Oxygen Media has been easing into one of the best available sources for true crime on television.

With its "Cruel Summer" programming this summer, things are really heating up!

Two new series are being added to an already exciting lineup.

Beginning Monday, June 11 at 8/7c, The Price of Duty premieres.

The new series follows dedicated detectives from across the country as they recount their stories of complex cases that have emotionally impacted and changed their lives forever.

Each episode explores the emotional rollercoaster of how investigators sacrificed their personal lives to solve these seemingly impossible cases.

They shed their stoic exteriors to expose their vulnerability and reveal the personal struggles they endured while working tirelessly to solve these unthinkable crimes.

With the first-hand narrative of the detectives, along with their families, the victim’s families and other law enforcement involved, the show reveals the impact these horrific crimes had on everyone involved.

The remarkable stories demonstrate how the detectives put everything on the line to help grieving families find justice while becoming ingrained in their lives forever.

On Monday, June 25 at 9/8c, In Defense Of gives viewers a unique perspective on some of the most high profile cases from Timothy McVeigh, Jodi Arias, Branch Davidians member Clive Doyle and Ted Bundy as they turn the lens on the top defense lawyers who represented them.

The attorneys will share riveting details from the most personal moments between attorney and client to the individual sacrifices made in order to represent these infamous cases.

Each episode will detail the evolution of their relationships and have you questioning your own preconceptions of each case.

The premiere details the case of Timothy McVeigh and even after all that I thought I knew about the case, the curtains were pulled away from information shared by his attorneys that had only been gathering dust around the case and what we thought was a case that had ended with the death of McVeigh and the imprisonment of Terry Nichols.

The two new shows join the already running Sunday series Buried in the Backyard and A Wedding and a Murder.

Buried in the Backyard airs Sundays at 7/6c and examines true-crime stories of victims found buried in the most unsuspecting of places.

While most people enjoy their backyard as a safe haven, others are not so lucky when they discover the horrors lurking beneath well-trimmed hedges and manicured fences.

Uncovering the remains is only the beginning, however, as each hour-long episode follows a unique police investigation to identify the body, determine a cause of death and find the person responsible.

There will also be first-hand accounts from friends and relatives of the victims and law enforcement and stunning reactions to bring the terrible tales to life. If we've learned anything from these types of series, it's that one day we could be talking about our own backyard.

A Wedding and a Murder, airing Sundays at 8/7c examines the true stories of engagements, weddings, and picture-perfect honeymoons that went from joyous celebration to untimely death.

Each hour-long episode will expose a grisly homicide set against the backdrop of what appears to be wedded bliss.

The series will chronicle many cases including the well-known disappearance of Annie Le, a young beautiful Yale student who vanished before her wedding.

There is also the story of Gail and Rick Brink, happy newlyweds whose marriage ended in a tragedy and remained unsolved for decades until an unexpected witness revealed a disturbing family secret.

A supposedly joyous bride, an otherwise happy groom, a jealous guest or even an unassuming caterer -- anyone could be the victim or suspect when a wedding is a catalyst for murder!!
