CBS Confirms Firing of Former NCIS: New Orleans Boss Brad Kern

Brad Kern is out at NCIS: New Orleans and CBS.
The former showrunner has been ousted from the series as consulting producer, according to Deadline.
"We have ended Brad Kern’s role as consulting producer on NCIS: New Orleans and his overall deal with the studio,” said a spokesperson for CBS Television Studios to the website on the matter.
The news comes just over two months after it was revealed that Kern was suspended while the third investigation into misconduct against him was carried out by the network.
“I believe in terms of keeping him out of the workplace during the investigation, that was to be as fair and open as we could be,” CBS Entertainment President Kelly Kahl told reporters at the Television Critics Association summer press tour in August.

Variety revealed in December 2017 that there had been two investigations into Kern's behavior and that the results were inconclusive.
“We were aware of these allegations when they took place in 2016 and took them very seriously,” CBS TV Studios said in a statement at the time, adding:
“Both complaints were acted upon immediately with investigations and subsequent disciplinary action.
"While we were not able to corroborate all of the allegations, we took this action to address behavior and management style, and have received no further complaints since this was implemented.”
It was then announced in May that Kern was scaling back his duties on the series, leaving behind his showrunner role and being billed as a consultant from that point on.
Brad underwent a six months sensitivity training course, so it sounds like the network has certainly tried to make things work with him.
This news comes just weeks after CBS chairman Les Moonves' tenure as CEO came to a halt following multiple sexual assault allegations lodged against him.
