TV Ratings Report: The Simpsons, Bob's Burgers Soar to Season Highs
Paul Dailly at .The ratings for Sunday are in, and Fox had a solid night thanks to an NFC Playoff that provided a halo effect for its animation domination rotation.
The Simpsons scored a 3.5 rating in the demo (8.6 million total viewers), up significantly and marking a four-year high in the demo.
Bob's Burgers scored a 2.2 rating (5.3 million total viewers), marking five-year highs in the demo.
Family Guy also hit a season high with a 1.8 rating (4.2 million total viewers), while Rel delivered its second best ratings of the season with a 1.1 rating (2.8 million total viewers).
Over on CBS, God Friended Me (8.2 million/0.9 rating), NCIS: Los Anges (8.3 million/0.9 rating), and Madam Secretary (6 million/0.6 rating) matched their week ago results in the demo.
ABC's rotation of America's Funniest Videos (6.3 million/1.3 rating) and Shark Tank (4.3 million/1.1 rating) were each up double-digits to post season highs.
The CW's airing of the Critics Choice Awards (1.5 million/0.3 rating) was right on par with last year's telecast.
