TV Ratings Report: Survivor Returns Steady, The World's Best Continues to Fall

at .

Survivor returned to CBS on Wednesday night, and it did so with steady ratings.

With 7.8 million total viewers and a 1.6 rating, it was right on par with its fall launch.

It easily won the night in the demo, but The World's Best did not benefit from an improved lead-in.

The new competition series secured just 3.8 million total viewers and a 0.7 rating.

It's unclear at this stage whether CBS will allow the new format to air all of its episodes before being pulled.

It should be performing better given the promotional campaign, and the post-Superbowl launching pad.

I Trust You - Chicago PD Season 6 Episode 15

Over on NBC, Chicago Med (9.1 million/1.3 rating) was steady, while Chicago Fire (9 million/1.3 rating) and Chicago P.D. (9.1 million/1.4 rating) were each up with their crossover episodes.

The Masked Singer popped in the ratings for Fox with 8.2 million total viewers and a 2.6 rating.

24 Hours to Hell and Back aired before that with 3.6 million total viewers and a 1.1 rating.

Phil on the Phone - Modern Family Season 10 Episode 14

The Goldbergs (5 million viewers/1.1 rating) and Match Game (2 million viewers/0.5 rating) were steady, Schooled (3.8 million/0.9 rating) and Single Parents (2.7 million/0.7 rating) ticked up, while Modern Family (4.4 million/1.1 rating) dipped.
