TV Ratings Report: New Amsterdam, The Village Hit New Lows

at .

NBC's Tuesday line-up is not holding up well without This Is Us.

The Voice started things off with 7.1 million total viewers and a 1.0 rating in the demo.

These numbers are not great, and down two-tenths from last Tuesday's episode.

The Village then logged a new series low, slipping to just 3.9 million viewers and a 0.6 rating in the demo.

The new drama was already in a precarious position, and it's likely that NBC will cancel it at the end of the season.

As for New Amsterdam, the breaks and the lack of This Is Us lead-in is not helping it.

Tuesday's episode came in dead last in the 10 PM slot with 4.5 million total viewrs and a 0.6 rating, hitting new lows.

Thankfully, the series is already renewed. NBC would be wise to only air it with This Is Us next season because the show can't stay strong without a stronger lead-in.

Over on ABC, Bless This Mess launched with decent ratings. 4.6 million total viewers and a 0.9 rating made it ABC's highest-rated and most-watched show on Tuesday.

Additionally, it was way up from Splitting Up Together's sophomore average (2.8 million/0.7 rating).

Elsewhere on ABC, American Housewife (3.9 million/0.8 rating), blackish (3.5 million/0.8 rating), and The Rookie (4 million/0.7 rating) were all up week-to-week.

Over on The CW, The Flash (1.8 million/0.6 rating) and Roswell, New Mexico (1.1 million/0.3 rating) were each up a tenth.

NCIS (11.7 million/1.1 rating) and FBI (8.7 million/0.9 rating) were stable with their last originals, while NCIS: New Orleans (6.6 million/0.7 rating) inched up a tenth.
