After 15 seasons, we are used to the structure of Grey's Anatomy. A season wouldn't be complete without episodes dedicated to huge tramas that rock the city, hard hitting deaths, and of course the fun and sometimes squeamishly fascinating cases. 

There's so much creativity, especially behind the squeamishly fascinating cases. They leave us in awe, applauding and questioning how there could possibly be that much variety in medicine.

Initially the cases are a bit far fetched, that is until science kicks in and the doctors hit the books and perform their magic. Nonetheless these cases are still unforgettable. Test your memory and enjoy the list of the wildest cases Grey's Anatomy has ever showcased.

1. Tree Man

Jerry Adams was a patient who suffered from an intense case of untreated HPV that caused him to grow tree-like warts all over his body on Grey's Anatomy Season 7 Episode 3. Remember the scene Bailey cuts a part of the "horn" off and a spider came crawling out? Gross.

2. Spontenaous Orgasms

Poor Pamela Calva entertained us with her spontaneous orgasms on Grey's Anatomy Season 2 Episode 18. Many doctors questioned why she would ever want to stop those, but alongside the curious doctors, we learned the negative social side effects of an intense orgasm overtaking your body anytime anywhere.

3. Pregnant Man

Initially, Shane Herman came on Greys Anatomy Season 2 Episode 7 convinced he was pregnant. His pregnancy test even came back positive. A few tests later they came to the conclusion that it was a large mass growing inside.

4. Tree Inside Lung

Raul Aranda is a patient on Grey's Anatomy Season 7 Episode 21 who was growing a tree inside his lung. It's not every day a foreign object is found living and growing inside a body cavity unless it's a parasite of some sort.

5. Trapped in Cement

Andrew Langston was dared by his friends to jump into a wet cement which left him stuck in a huge piece of dried cement on Grey's Anatomy Season 4 Episode 16. He was successfully freed but still left with many injuries.

6. Bomb in a Body

How could we ever forget this nearly fateful episode? On Grey's Anatomy Season 2 Episode 17 Meredith put her life in danger when she shoved her hand inside a body cavity containing a bomb. The first and only time in Grey's history that there was a code black.

7. Connected by a Pole

Tom Maynard and Bonnie Crasoff were shishkabobbed together by fate. On Grey's Anatomy Season 2 Episode 6 these two were victims of a horrible train crash that left them both impaled on the same metal pole. Unfortunately only Tom survived, but for the moments leading up to the surgery, they were both conscious and cracking jokes. The body and brain are amazing entities. How they manage to keep us alive and functioning while blocking pain is true magic.

8. Toxic Blood

Due to the chemo drugs, Marina Rose Wagner was on, in combination with the herbal supplements she was taking, made for a deadly toxin. During her procedure on Grey's Anatomy Season 3 Episode 14 when the doctors opened her up the blood became toxic and knocked all the doctors unconscious.

9. Brain on the Outside

Tyler was a baby on Grey's Anatomy Season 9 Episode 22 who was born with an encephalocele which occurs when the neural tube isn't closed completely during fetal development. The doctors concluded there was no brain matter in his encephalocele so they were able to remove it successfully and reconstruct his skull.

10. Zombie Man

During the Halloween special on Grey's Anatomy Season 10 Episode 7 Christina gets her trick and her treat when she's given a patient who has situs inversus, a condition that reverses the side of the body the organs are located. Initially, the zombie man got so high on drugs he attacked a man who was convinced he was a zombie when he didn't die after being shot twice in the area his heart would've originally been.

11. Judy Doll Dinner

R. Hubble came on Grey's Anatomy Season 2 Episode 2 with an obstructed bowel. He wouldn't tell the doctors what he swallowed, but after the X-rays came back, to their surprise he had the heads of 10 Judy Dolls floating around in his body. So many questions were left unanswered.

12. Insenstivie to Pain

Megan Clover on Grey's Anatomy Season 3 Episode 3 was a little girl who came into the ER after being treated three times prior for serious injuries. Alex suspected foster care abuse but eventually came to the conclusion that she had a rare condition that allowed her to go without feeling pain.

13. Self-Amputation

James Miller comes into the clinic complaining his foot doesn't belong to him and he requests an amputation, but Bailey refuses because it is a healthy limb. It turns out James suffers from body dysmorphic disorder, so he decides to take matters into his own hands and uses a chainsaw to cut his own foot off.
