With the premiere fast approaching, CBS has yet to reveal who has been cast as the islanders looking for love.

Love Island begun its life in the United Kingdom. It was originally known as Celebrity Love Island, and aired on ITV from 2005-06.

It was canceled following its second season thanks to low ratings. In 2015, the series was rebooted as Love Island, and was an immediate success for digital channel, ITV 2.

The recent fifth season launched with 3.3 million total viewers.

It remains to be seen whether the show will translate well for U.S. audiences or if it will become another Paradise Hotel.
