The CW Sets Series Finale Dates for Jane the Virgin and iZombie

It's almost time to say goodbye to two fan-favorite dramas that call The CW home.

The young-skewing network has firmed up the rest of its summer roster, confirming when fans will see the last of both Jane the Virgin and iZombie.

Off the Hook - Jane the Virgin Season 5 Episode 3

The Gina Rodriguez-fronted Jane the Virgin will come to a close Wednesday, July 31 at 9/8c.

There's good news for fans of the series:

A "celebratory episode" will air at 8/7c on the same night, right before the series finale. No other details have been revealed, but it will likely feature the cast and crew chatting about their favorite moments.

For now, July 31 will be the last time fans will get a glimpse into the Jane the Virgin universe. A spinoff titled Jane the Novella was in the works for the 2019-20 TV season.

However, the network opted to go in a different direction, leaving the series at pilot stage. CW boss Mark Pedowitz recently stated that he is not ruling out future spinoffs, so it may well be a matter of time.

iZombie, which is currently airing Thursdays at 8/7c will conclude for good on August 1. Yes, that's the day after Jane the Virgin wraps up.

Both shows were renewed for final seasons a year ago, so there will be closure for fans of them.

Additionally, the network has revealed that In the Dark will wrap its first season Thursday, June 27 at 9/8c, while The 100 Season 6 will close Tuesday, August 6 at 9/8c.

Both shows have already snagged renewals for next season.
