American Horror Story: 1984 is officially in production, and we finally have some clarity about who will be part of the expansive cast of the hit drama's ninth chapter.
Glee veteran Matthew Morrison is reuniting with Ryan Murphy.
While no character details have been revealed, Murphy shared a very revealing Instagram video, which is dubbed a "camera test."
Morrison dons some facial hair, and he looks ripped straight from the '80s. That would make sense, given the "1984" title the anthology series is rolling with this year.
The post also gave us our first glimpse of returning veteran Emma Roberts, as well as new addition to the cast Gus Kenworthy.
But there was more:
We also got confirmation that franchise veterans Cody Fern, Leslie Grossman, Billie Lourd, and John Carroll Lynch were also returning.
Pose actress, Angelica Ross is also making the jump to the hit series in an undisclosed role.
It was previously announced that Evan Peters was sitting the ninth installment out, meaning this will be the first season without him.
Sarah Paulson, who has also appeared in every other season, is confirmed to be out of the series as a regular.
However, she could pop up in a minimal role.
Time will tell.
As is the norm with American Horror Story, details about the storyline are being kept under wraps.
However, it is likely to be a homage to 1980s horror movies given timely setting, and of course, the summer camp location.
As previously reported, American Horror Story: 1984 will debut Wednesday, September 18 at 10/9c on FX.
