After skipping a winter cycle for the first time, Dancing with the Stars Season 28 is getting ready to return to the ballroom. 

The official cast was revealed on Wednesday during a segment on Good Morning America.

Who made the cut?

Lauren Alaina

A platinum-selling country star, whose critically acclaimed second album landed on a string of Best Of lists including Billboard, Rolling Stone, and Amazon. 

It was also the most-streamed female country album release of 2017. 

Christie Brinkley

Supermodel, author, and entrepreneur Christie Brinkley has appeared on more than 500 magazine covers worldwide. Brinkley is also an actress and recently returned in the Tony® Award-winning revival of the mega-hit musical “Chicago” as Roxie Hart.

Ally Brooke

All Brooke is a pop star who is best known for her work with one of the most popular girl groups around, Fifth Harmony. 

That band was formed on Fox's The X Factor, and she plans to show off her dance skills to the millions of viewers. 

Hannah Brown 

Hannah recently wrapped her run as The Bachelorette following a season that had a lot of talking points and some huge drama. 

Hannah first joined the franchise as a potential love interest for Colton Underwood on The Bachelor. 

Karamo Brown

Karamo is a TV host who has made a big impact on all of the series he has appeared in. He may be most well-known thanks to his role on Netflix's hit series Queer Eye. 

Kate Flannery 

Kate is an actor, comedienne, and singer. She is probably best known for her nine-season stint as Meredith the drunk on NBC's hit series, The Office. 

Her most recent turn on the small screen, however, was on CBS comedy Young Sheldon. 

Ray Lewis 

Ray is an NFL Hall of Famer who invested 17 years of hs life to the world of football. He is one of the most memorable names around. 

He is also a New York Times bestselling author thanks to his breakout memoir, "I Feel Like Going On."

Kel Mitchell

Kel is a seasoned TV veteran thanks to his roles on some of the biggest shows out there. He is perhaps best known as one of the two leads on Kenan & Kel. 

He also appeared on The Good Burger. 

Lamar Odom

Lamar is an American professional basketball player who had a high-profile relationship with Keeping Up with the Kardashians star, Khloe Kardashian. 

However, the relationship imploded, and Odom had a very public near-death experience. 

Sean Spicer 

Sean is a politician who was one of the most recognized staffers in the Trump administration. 

James Van Der Beek

James has appeared in a string of hit TV shows and movies throughout his time in the spotlight. The biggest show to date for him was Dawson's Creek. 

More recently, he appeared on FX's Pose. 

Mary Wilson 

Mary Wilson is a singer, bestselling author, motivational speaker, businesswoman, former U.S. Cultural Ambassador, wife, mother, and grandmother.
