Apple TV+ Sets November Launch Date - How Much Will It Cost?

Apple has finally revealed the goodies about its forthcoming streaming service.

The tech giant has finally confirmed when the service will launch, and more importantly, how much subscribers will have to pay to have access to the service.

Friday, November 1 is the launch date, CEO Tim Cook revealed at an event on Tuesday.

Many assumed the price would be in line with Netflix, but it actually undercuts the most popular streamer as well as the forthcoming Disney+.

It will cost $4.99 per month for a family subscription. Even more promising is that it will launch in more than 100 countries on the date of the U.S. launch.

It's certainly a great way to get the word out there that the service exists, but outside of the U.S., it's likely that not many people know about it.

At this moment in time, it's unclear how shows will be released. Some streamers drop full seasons at one time, while others take on a weekly approach to drum up the excitement.

As much as 23 shows are currently in development, and the streamer previously dropped footage of Jennifer Aniston-fronted The Morning Show, For All of Mankind, and Dickinson.

No premiere date for any of the series have been revealed, but it's likely at least one of those shows will be available at launch.

Update: Apple has confirmed that See, starring Jason Momoa is launching November 1.
