Sophie Turner has already lined up her TV return, months after the conclusion of Game of Thrones.
The actress has joined that cast of a brand new thriller, Survive at forthcoming streaming service, Quibi.
Turner is attached to play the role of Jane, who finds herself at death's door after being involved in a plane crash on a snowy mountain.
24: Legacy and The Walking Dead grad, Corey Hawkins has also snagged a lead role on the series.
He is playing the role of Paul, a fellow passenger on the plane.
Jane and Paul are seemingly the sole survivors of the ill-fated flight, and "they embark on a harrowing journey out of the wilderness, battling brutal conditions and personal traumas.”
The series is based on Alex Morel's 2012 novel.
It's unclear how much the series will follow the novel, but in the original one, Jane was a suicidal teenager who planned to take her life in the plane's bathroom.
“I couldn’t be more honored to portray the role of Jane in Survive for Quibi,” Turner said via statement.
“She’s a complex character fighting against the odds to not only save her life but to also find her own source of strength and courage."
"I only hope this can impact anyone struggling with self-worth to understand they are braver than they know and to seek the support they need.”
Quibi is a short-form streaming service that will not be sticking to 20 or 40-minute episodes. Instead, it is expected that episodes will be released as chapters, spanning 7 to 10 minutes.
The service is slated to bow in April 2020, with a $4.99 ad-supported iteration, as well as an ad-free one for $7.99.
It's certainly a different kind of streaming service, but will it be able to break through the myriad of other options out there?
Time will tell.
