Brian Tarantina, Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and Gilmore Girls Star, Dead at 60

Brian Tarantina has died.
The beloved actor passed away on Saturday in New York.
He was 60.
WCBS-TV New York reported that Tarantina was found dead in his Hell's Kitchen Apartment, but a cause of death has yet to be determined.
A rep for the actor told People.com that “Brian had been ill lately,” adding, “He was recently in the hospital and was in the process of recuperating from what I believe to be a heart-related issue.”
The actor most recently appeared on Amazon Prime Video's The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel as Jackie.
The show paid tribute to the actor on the show's social media channels.
"The Gaslight won’t be the same without you," it reads.
"Thank you Brian Tarantina for sharing in all of the laughs. Sending love to his family and friends in this difficult time."
Rachel Brosnahan, Mrs. Maisel's leading lady paid tribute to the actor on Sunday morning.
“So deeply sad to hear about the passing of Brian Tarantina,” Brosnahan shared on social media early Sunday.
“He was hilarious and talented and kind and an all around golden fucking weirdo. Our family of weirds won’t be the same without him.”
“God damnit, Jackie, you f–king f–k,” Alex Borstein wrote. “Thought you’d be the very last one to leave me.”
Tarantina previously worked with Mrs. Maisel EPs Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino on Gilmore Girls. He played the role of Stars Hollow newsstand owner Bootsy.
He reprised the role in the 2016 sequel series, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.
The actor appeared in a lot of TV shows throughout his time in the spotlight. He has had roles in the likes of Law & Order, NYPD Blue, Miami Vice, Homicide: Life on the Street, ER, Heroes, and Oz.
He also played two different roles on One Life to Live.
In recent years, he appeared on Madam Secretary, Elementary, The Night Of, and Blue Bloods.
On the movie front, he appeared in the likes of Uncle Buck, Carlito's Way, and BlacKkKlansman.
He also enjoyed a successful Broadway career.
