The uncertain look on The Flash's face tells us we need to keep our guard up. But the bigger question we can't help asking: is Captain Cold assisting Barry or leading him down a dark path?
Oh, Captain, my captain, how we've missed you! Sure, Captain Cold is usually on the criminal side. But we love seeing Leonard Snart in action. It's been too long since Barry and Cold interacted.
Why is Jay giving Barry his helmet? Will it help him get home? Does it have special powers we don't know about yet? Barry doesn't look too keen on taking it.
Barry's lightning is MIA from the front of his Flash suit. Is that a side effect of the speed force? Maybe his power doesn't work the way it normally does once he's inside.
Jay's helped Barry navigate time before. He's probably spent time in the speed force or at least studied it enough to be able to lend a helping hand. We hope so, anyway. For Barry's sake and Wally's.
Barry's traveled to a lot of different places. The one thing they have in common? The new world's are always different from Earth-1 in some terrible way. What will Barry find in the speed force?
Judging by the lighting, this looks like it's happening in the speed force. The last few times Barry met Joe's doppelganger, he wasn't a huge fan of the speedster. Will he have better luck with this version?
At first glance, it seems like Iris and Joe are seeing Barry off as he enters the speed force. But it's doubtful Barry's leaving from what looks like the police station. He may already be inside.
We would happy that would be Barry's first question. Then again, Eddie died before Wally arrived so that might take some explanation. Either way, we're happy to see Eddie.
Barry and Eddie have one major thing in common: a love for Iris above all else. Eddie should want to help Barry rescue her brother. But that's assuming this is the Eddie we remember.
As much as we love WestAllen, it's hard not to miss Eddie. He was a good guy, who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect everyone. But what's he doing in the speed force?
Eddie: Choices have consequences. I'm afraid we can't let you make anymore choices like that. Barry: Wally is just a kid. Eddie: He's a Flash. He made his choice. Now he has to live with it. Just like you do. Barry: I'm not going anywhere until Wally's free. Eddie: Then be prepared to spend an eternity in here.
