We offer an array of options, all of which will allow you to witness Jones attack Spearhead in an effort to take Foster's Core and bring Cole home. As Cole is staggering through disease-ridden Chechnya in 2017, he hears a familiar voice. It's Cassie sending out a plea to the immune. Since their antibodies may hold a clue for a potential vaccine, she asks them to report to the nearest authorities. In 2043, with rumors spreading of a cure, Jones assures her team it's impossible Foster found a cure since the virus continues to mutate. The only real option is to go back and wipe out the plague before it begins. In order to do that, they must take Foster's Core by force. Ramse returns to Spearhead and asks Elena to trust him; they need to get out of there fast. Though he tells her Foster lied about a cure, she assures him the cure works. Jones arrives before long and makes it very clear she will be leaving Spearhead with the Core. Foster can either give it to her willingly, or she will take it by force. A flashback to 2041, reveals that Ramse and Cole had tried to ambush Whitley and his men who had shot a deer for dinner. He brings the scavs back to the Temporal Facility, and when Jones hears Cole's name, she tells him she had been waiting for him. Back in 2017, Cole approaches some American soldiers claiming to be immune. They spot the VII mark on his arm, and take him to a car where an American military woman tells him she's got order to return him to the U.S. Upon arriving in the states, Cole finds himself outside the CDC in Baltimore. We see Jennifer Goines speaking to a group of young women. "We daughters shall make from twelve what man could not. Yes, an army" she tells them. Inside the building, Cole is reunited with Cassie and they hug. Though she's happy to see him, she appears weak and sick. Cassie tells Cole they've been through a lot together over the past few years. Her words remain a mystery, as Cole has not lived those moments yet. What is painfully obvious, is that Cassie failed to find a cure and is dying herself. She asks Cole if he found the red forest, but then remembers she can't say any more or risk altering the path he's on. However, she does give him a piece of paper with an address, telling him his life depends on it. In 2043, Jones and Foster chat pleasantly and even quote Shakespeare, until Jones pulls a gun on Foster and kills him. The Spearhead attack officially begins, with Whitley's father switching sides. The Project Splinter soldiers destroy everything in their path while making their way to the Core. Whitley father and scientist Lasky are lost along the way. Ultimately, the new Core is installed, and Jones splinters Cole home. We see the scratch on Cassie's watch heal itself, but it's not clear what this means. Jones burns a piece of evidence proving Foster's cure was successful; she lied to everyone. Elena asks Ramse how far Jones would go for her mission. Isn't it possible she would lie? Ramse tells Cole that Jones killed everyone at Spearhead, yet Foster's cure was real. This mission has to stop, otherwise Ramse's new family will be erased. Cole harshly reminds his friend his son's already dead; they fight it out. How far is Ramse willing to go to protect his family? What will Cole do in order to complete his mission?

12 Monkeys Season 1 Episode 9 Quotes

Jones: Jonathan, let me show you the machine and then you will see...
Foster: Seeing a machine is not going to make me believe in blasphemy.
Jones: Time has not changed you.
Foster: Go home Kat, consider my offer, but don't ask again for my Core.
Jones: I am not here to ask. I will have your Core. The only thing undecided is, whether you will give it to me or if I must take it.

Foster lied, why? Because it gives his people hope, just as it gave you. So that his obsession to find a cure, his work, can continue.
