A rollercoaster malfunctions. One guy is flung from the ride and dies, and the rest of the riders are stuck upside down in the loop. Bobby and Buck work to save them. Another rider falls to his death as Buck tries to save him. Buck is having a hard time dealing with it. 

Abby's mom gets a new, much more competent nurse. 

A man is attacked by dogs. Athena and Hen arrive and throw burgers to lure them away. Athena realizes too late that the man was robbing the house. 

Abby decides to call Buck and see how he's doing. 

Buck tells Bobby he tried out for the Navy Seals, but he wasn't able to turn off his emotions. Bobby tells him to talk to a therapist. 

Athena admits in therapy that a part of her always knew Michael was gay, but that she wanted a family with him anyway, and is not ready to let it go. Michael says he met someone. 

Buck sleeps with his therapist. 

Athena tracks down the robber and arrests him. 

A man is threatening to jump to his death because he thinks his girlfriend cheated on him. Bobby tries to talk him down while Buck gets into position. While Bobby is distracting him, Buck lapels down and pushes him back off the ledge to safety. 

Athena's daughter overdoses and is unresponsive.
