Coulson splits his team in two, Skye and May are tasked with recovering Raina while the others check out the ancient city. The plan is to survey the tunnel's structural integrity then locate the temple and blow it up. Of course, that's simply what he tells his team. Elsewhere, Agent Koenig uses an umbrella cloaking device to rescue Raina from HYDRA. This leads to an important conversation between Raina and Skye. "My grandmother came from a long line of special people who believed in a story about the blue angels that fell from the Heavens. The ancients called them The Kree" Raina explains. Meanwhile, Simmons shared the story of her underwater nightmare with Bobbie. Simmons tells her that she's never felt anything but friendship toward Fitz. In Old San Juan, Bobbi's contact refuses to go down into the tunnels due to the legend of "La Carita del Diablo." The locals believe them to be haunted. Coulson's team is on their own. Fitz uses his remote controlled flying drones to explore a dark cavern. When they short out, Mack volunteers to be lowered into the cavern. He touches the alien symbols on the floor and soon goes berserk attacking his fellow agents. Bobbie manages to take him down but he plummets into the cavern to his death. Thanks to a tracker placed on Raina, Whitehall's planes arrive. Ward boards the bus taking Raina and Skye with him. Ward's orders were to destroy S.H.I.E.L.D.'s aircraft but he let the bus go. Is this a sign he's on Coulson's side? Will HYDRA unlock the secrets of the temple now that they have both the Obelisk and Skye in their possession? Tune in next week to find out!
