After Alice starts stealing skin off of corpses in morgues, Batwoman captures her and then, as Kate, forces her to share her story by letting Jacob know they are together so that he will track her phone. Alice reveals Catherine's part in faking Beth's DNA and then has Kate drive them to a roadside diner where she tells her about being kept prisoner by Mr. Cartwright so that she could be friends with his son Jonathan who is able to mimic any voice he hears.
Jacob and Sophie follow in pursuit and Jacob reveals what Catherine confessed.
Catherine and Mary talk and Catherine comes clean with her daughter as well and Mary storms off, disgusted.
Kate realizes her drink is drugged and passes out.
Jacob and Sophie arrive and are ambushed at the diner. Jacob beats on Dodgson when he sees him.
Mary arrives at Wayne Tower drunk and wants to see Kate but finds Luke instead.
Kate wakes up in the basement cell where Beth was locked up and Alice tells her that she'd managed to call Jacob once. He and Kate came right to the house but are fooled by Cartwright and Johnny. Kate was very close to finding Beth.
Luke and Mary look at his research on skin stealing and discover an Arkham patient named Jonathan Cartwright with the same hobby had escaped recently.
Jacob and Sophie arrive at the farmhouse. Sophie fights Jonathan in the shed but he gets away. Alice confronts Jacob in the house and stabs him. Kate has escaped and holds Jonathan, aka Mouse, hostage for Jacob's life. Sophie tips the odds in Kate's favor. Alice exchanges Jacob for Mouse and leaves.
Kate wonders about Alice and Jacob survives the stabbing.
Alice and Mouse are happy together.
