Erin believes that someone has been breaking into her apartment and moving things. After the third time it happens she calls 911 instead of Danny but he finds out anyway. Later Morgan, a woman in Erin’s office is attacked late one evening. It’s a message to Erin who is prosecuting the head of a biker gang but it turns out that it’s a rival gang trying to frame the guy in jail. When Morgan identifies the man who attacked, Danny and Baez figure out that his girlfriend is also the one breaking into Erin’s. Both are arrested.
While having breakfast with Nicky, Frank stumbles across an unregistered charity supposedly collecting funds for victims and families affected by 9/11. Nicky believes them and urges Frank to give the organization the benefit of the doubt. But Frank lets them go but later investigates the charity. He finds out that the head of the organization, Lauren Vickers is really Elise Whitfield who is wanted in several states for fraud. Frank has her arrested.
When a tenant leaves behind a pipe bomb, it explodes moments after Jamie and Eddie run from the room. Eddie makes a connection with the elderly land lady, Beth who is suffering from dementia and thinks that Eddie is her niece Meg who left years before. Eddie is able to get Beth to remember JJ’s full name and work information.
Eddie, Jamie and a detective find JJ at a Union meeting with a bomb strapped to him. Jamie shoots JJ in the head before he can detonate the bomb.
Later, when Eddie finds out that Beth’s niece Meg actually died from cancer, she gives the older woman her phone number so they can keep in touch.
