Blue Bloods Season 9 Episode 15 revolves around a fatal shooting Danny engages in and his guilt afterwards.

Danny is at the gas station one night when he sees what looks like a robbery in progress. A kid with a screwdriver comes running at him and ignores commands to stop and to drop it. After the tenth or so time, Danny shoots him and the kid dies.

The kid's mother is angry and doesn't want to talk to Danny. Meanwhile, he has to talk to the mother of another child that has been killed. The mother can't get rid of him fast enough but he finds out about a girlfriend.

Danny's family is all worried about him but he insists he's fine. Henry tells him that since Linda isn't here to get him through this, it's time he move on, but he's not interested, especially since Henry and Frank never dated again after their wives died.

Meanwhile, Eddie catches a turnstile jumper who gives them info about a stolen gun to try to get out of trouble, and the info can help Erin's case -- if they can track the gun down. Eddie ends up working with Anthony, who is fond of getting in suspects' faces and threatening them with jail. Eddie isn't comfortable with it.

And Frank has a dilemma of his own when he learns a highly decorated cop was once a 15-year-old who held up a liquor store and who lied on his application to be a cop since the NYPD does not employ former felons.
