Thanksgiving has come again for the Belcher clan. Linda and the kids decide to go to the First Annual Fischoeder Turk-tacular Turkey Town Festival and Turkey Trot, hosted by Calvin and Felix Fischoeder. Bob, angry that his family would rather spend Thanksgiving at a festival rather than at home, decides to boycott the holiday, adamant that he won't be cooking anything.

While Bob stays at home drinking and dancing to Donna Summer, things at the festival take a chaotic turn. The turkeys and other accidentally selected birds turn out to be wilder than expected. Right as the race begins, they run wild, attacking anyone in their path, including Linda and Teddy. Meanwhile, the kids are trapped on a moving ride while the birds gather and swarm around them. Linda, Teddy and the ride operator, Mickey fight their way through the horde of vicious birds and save the kids from the ride.

They all leave the via the Tickle Boat and head home, only to realize that Bob has decided to go to the grocery store and find a turkey to cook for Thanksgiving at the last minute. The horde of turkeys, Bob and Linda and company all meet at the grocery store where Linda saves everyone by pecking everyone around her, thereby establishing herself as the leader of the turkeys. Everyone meets at the Belcher home for Thanksgiving dinner.
