Chicago Med Season 5 Episode 6 continues the saga of Natalie's battle with Lucas' parents.

The hospital has got a court order requiring the parents to accept Natalie's recommended treatment for Lucas, but the parents are unhappy and distrust Natalie. When Lucas starts spitting up blood, they demand to take him home. Natalie hurries to do a scope while the parents are not in the room. They return with the police and Natalie is arrested -- and the hospital board doesn't want to provide her with a lawyer.

Meanwhile, Will has a patient who is a Jehovah's Witness and can't have a blood transfusion. Will thinks it's ridiculous that the parents want to do nothing but pray. He becomes determined to prove that the patient is no longer a Jehovah's Witness so that he can do a lifesaving operation on the patient.

And finally, April and Noah come across a girl being beaten up in the alley. The girl lies and says she's undocumented when she's not. It turns out this was a gang initiation and she says since it didn't work out now she has to be gang-raped. When April calls the police on the gang members who come to get the girl, Noah is angry that she disrespected his decision not to do so.
