Rory returns to Stars Hollow in between stops on her vagabond lifestyle. She and Lorelai catch up on the comings and goings of Stars Hollow.

Lorelai and Luke have been living happily together for nine years, but are not married. 

Sookie is gone from the Dragonfly, now having a new job working for a celebrity chef. Others try to fill her shoes, but are always unsuccessful.

Emily's world falls apart without Richard. She and Lorelai are at  odds because Lorelai couldn't say anything about Richard at his funeral, something Emily is holding over Lorelai. 

Emily suggests that to move forward in their relationship, she and Lorelai go to therapy together.

Rory is still dating Logan when she returns to London, but she isn't the only woman in his life. 

Rory wants to succeed in journalism, but seems to hit road block every step of the way, making her second guess whether or not this is the career path for her. 

Lorelai and Luke seek Paris' help in fertility when they are deciding whether or not to have another child. 

Kirk starts a new business venture to compete with Uber, a ride sharing service called, "Oooober."

Rory catches up with Lane.
