The feud between Dany and Aleida continues, but Bennett assures Dany that nothing happened when her mom stripped for him in the storage room. She thanks him by removing his trousers, discovering that he has an artificial leg. Although she stumbles a bit, she tries to make him feel comfortable when she explains how different she has always felt than others.

Piper's mom visited and told her she didn't belong in prison with everyone else, and Piper took responsibility for her crime. Nicky told Piper to appreciate her mom, and we discovered through flashbacks that Nicky had a privileged upbringing, but din't feel close to her mother, and turned to drugs. She had a bacterial infection common in drug addicts and later she and Alex bonded over the information after a shower.

Piper wanted to get back into Alex's good graces, but wasn't able to do so. 

Healy decided to reinstate the Women's Advocacy Council after a bunch of ladies weren't acting as such while playing board games. He called Piper into his office, used her as a mannequin to choose a dress for his wife, and then asked her to run for the WAC. She politely declined and he said he guessed he couldn't force her. 

Larry's editor told him to write an article about his experience not whacking off while imagining Piper in prison, and Piper wasn't so sure about being the topic of an article - the subject of which had changed a bit by the time Larry shared it with her.

Piper finally made contact with Polly.

The women ran and voted for WAC by race, and all of their platforms were tailored to their group. Taco Tuesdays, fried chicken and water mattresses and healthcare were some. While all of the women were tied up with the WAC nominations, Piper found the bathroom was empty and used it in silence. She discovered a cell phone with the offending photo on it. The rest of the prison was also silent, and she wandered through, stopping to smell Alex's pillow.

Nicky was offended that Red didn't choose her as the WAC nominee for the whites, and later we learned that Red was the reason that Nicky is no longer using drugs.

When the WAC results are announced, it becomes clear that Healy can force Piper to be his nominee, as she won the election without running.
