Camilla is funding a state of the art orphanage in Epifanio’s name, but worries it won’t be enough to silence her detractors.
James and Teresa manage to outrun the hit squad, and she calls Pote. Teresa still doesn’t trust James. She zip ties his hands and puts him in the trunk of the car.
The hit squad picks up Pote and tortures him to find Teresa but he won’t talk. When Teresa calls, they have him tell Teresa to head to the port, but she knows it’s a setup.
Camila’s men track down Teresa at the safe house while James breaks out of the trunk. The two escape and Teresa calls Rocco de la Pena. She figures he has the police on his payroll and can get them to back off or help them escape
Camila’s men are upset when Teresa doesn’t arrive at the port. They continue to beat Pote, who breaks his own thumb to get out of his restraints but they use a cattle prod to subdue him.
Despite Camila contacting Rocco de la Pena, he turns on her and saves Teresa and James but he wants 6% of Teresa’s business instead of 4%. Teresa accepts.
Teresa won’t leave until she finds Pote, which she does. He’s still alive but injured and in extreme pain. When Teresa says she doesn’t think she could have taken the beating that Pote did without breaking, James tells her she could have. Pote follows her because she’s as strong as they come.
When Teresa asks James why he's here, he says he was working for Devin Finch, but when Finch wanted to him to kill an entire family even though there was little proof the husband cheated him, James said he couldn't do it. Teresa always said there was a better way to do business and now he wants to be a part of that.
The Colonel tells Boaz that Camila and Renaldo held a private meeting to oust him. They make a deal between them to start moving heroin behind Camila’s back. Cortez makes it clear that he plans to take down Camila.
