A man named Zachary showed up and was at the center of this episode. He approached Cassie and said he knew all about her as a witch and then said he wouldn't let what happened 16 years ago happen again.

When Dawn and Charles found out about Zachary, they were sufficiently worried. But they subsequently got the chance to intervene, after the Circle teamed up and took Zachary out and Dawn found his unconscious body lying on the floor.

She told the kids to scatter and locked Zachary in a trunk. When he awoke to her and Charles, Dawn closed her eyes, placed his hand on his forehead and said Zachary had been "marked."

Elsewhere:

- Zachary talked about a woman named Heather, who was at the scene of the fire 16 years ago but did not die. Her fate was worse than that, he said.

- After initially saying he only wanted Melissa for sex, Louis came around and asked if she wanted to just see a movie.

- Diana mentioned to Cassie something about the "way" Adam looks at her. Cassie said there's nothing there and that made Diana feel better. She said she really loves Adam.
