Ian and Caleb go on a first date, but things take a turn for the worse when they're at odds over what to talk about. Caleb gets a call into work because of an emergency and comments at how badly the date is going. 

Ian asks if he can go with him on the call because it would make him feel better. At the scene, a woman is hurt and Ian helps her by helping her bust arm. Caleb is initially alarmed, but Ian tells him he learned it in the army. 

Fiona goes to take the door with the kids' ages and heights and realizes there is something wrong with the house when the new family show up, so she goes to the bank to get a loan to buy it back, but she needs Gus to sign divorce papers. 

He blows her off several times and when he meets her, he comes to the conclusion that because she wants something off him, he shouldn't help her and pours his coffee over all the papers. 

Fiona is defeated and realizes the house is gone for good, but when Nick is arrested for murdering a kid, Carl buys them the house back.
