In Layton's car, the team discusses the newest weather balloon. Layton tells Roche and Till that he has a source on Big Alice. Till is upset that she hasn't solved her case and is told to take a day off.
Pike is dealing his weed when LJ and Oz knock him out and take him to Terence who warns him off doing business in Third. Layton staples Pike's head back together and assures him that he'll take care of Terence.

Layton meets with Terence who responds to Layton's offer to profit-share by threatening Josie's safety.
